Jean Rizzuto
Président Board of Directors

Jean Rizzuto’s mission is to enhance and promote the work of our artisan producers by offering superior food products and services.

Since its official opening on June 8, 1983, the Marché Public 440 has developed by adapting to the changing needs of the Laval residents and surrounding populations. It is by enhancing this raison d’être that today, the company wants to embark on a whole new adventure: organic urban farming, which will perfectly complement the Market offer.

Convinced that business development and social development go hand in hand, Jean Rizzuto is involved in several non-profit organizations, including the Virage Foundation, which supports people with cancer and their families. He is governor of the HEC Montréal and was a member of the board of directors of the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.

Alexandra Rizzuto
President

Alexandra has cultivated a passion for food since she was a little girl. Foodie even before the expression exists, she puts her creativity as well as her teaching and event management skills to the benefit of customers, any generation combined.

Her objective: to make the visit to the market a sensory and human experience that allows to discover, marvel, inspire and share. An experience that lets clients take time to choose their food and meet the artisan producers.

For Alexandra Rizzuto, there is a huge difference between grocery shopping and market shopping: the first is an obligation, while the second is a pleasure of life, nourishing the body and spirit!
